WHAT IS ABSOLUTE FAITH

Let thy body be a temple of Krishna
Let thy heart be the one that reflects only on Krishna…..

O human, know the secret of the conviction of faith. In life, faith is everything. Faith is not the name of blind devotion. To ensure that everything around us is auspicious we have to become deserving. Only by following the path of truth, love and karm, can we become worthy for God’s grace. Even after maintaining faith, some people have complaints and objections regarding the divine will.  Questions like ‘why did this happen’ start raising their head. This is because having left everything to faith and their belief in God; they start living according to their self-chosen path. The ‘doer-ship’ of their conviction, that God has to keep everything ‘in order’ (for their good) because of their faith in him, takes prominence.
Human beings do not have the wisdom to realise the fact that we have to be open and deserving of God’s grace when it descends. Because of ignorance caused by falsehood, pride, hypocrisy, selfishness, attachment, egos etc the doors of our (mann) heart are closed towards divine grace. Open these, and see that not only divine grace but divinity itself will flow towards you.

If in a jungle a tiger comes in front of you, and you start chanting a mantra that is supposed to dispel fear and enemies, or alternately, tell the beast to wait, so that you may go to a temple or consult an astrologer about which planet is to be pleased to overcome the situation, what would happen?
In such a condition, only three kinds of ‘yog’ (union with the divine consciousness) will be of use. Firstly, if in your eyes there is such pure, complete (poorn), unconditional love, then even a ferocious animal will give way to such a saintly person.
Secondly, if with full awareness, dhyan, wisdom and spontaneity, the situation is analysed, initiating right conduct at the right time, the dynamics of the situation can be changed to save oneself. This is possible only because of the incessant dedication (sadhana) of a ‘karm yogi’ towards karm (right conduct at the right time).
Thirdly and finally, there is the force of truth. To face truth with absolute fearlessness - knowing the fact that the truth of the moment demands you to become food for an animal, and that it has divine sanction and yet remain unaffected by it. Such complete fearlessness will influence your body language, leading to a miracle. This is the power of ‘satya yog’.
Even if the slightest doubt enters your mind that ‘O God, in spite of having complete faith in you, you are showing me this day,’ then IT (FAITH) WILL NOT WORK.
So, O human, faith is definitely the ultimate refuge, but, it is only due to the amalgamation of truth, love and karm, that divine grace descends.
Faith is the pride and beauty of humanity, the source of energy and only through truth, love and karm, can the human body become the medium of its descent. This is the greatness of humanity. Human life is a precious gift, so -
Keep open always, the doors of thy heart,
Open all its locks
With the key of FAITH, TRUTH, LOVE AND KARM
This is the essence of life
Its secret revealed by PRANAM
This is the truth.

INVOKING GANESH JI

In Indian tradition, any task, may it be a new business or a holy ceremony, is started only after worshipping and igniting Lord Ganesh. This is performed like a ritual. The underlying meaning associated with this practice is very profound. It is therefore essential for us to understand this, so that we can explain it to others, especially the younger generation, because it would make them realise and comprehend our culture and its Vedic wisdom in its true perspective.
Only when a pooja or ritual is performed, keeping in mind and understanding the philosophy and hidden messages concealed in the forms of the various deities, devi-devtas and their ritualistic worship, can it be said to be whole and complete.
The curved trunk of Ganeshji represents the arousal of the powers of the kundalini. Vast ears represent the ability to listen to and comprehend all that other’s say. The big stomach inspires us to keep all that is within our minds under wraps until it is accomplished. The single tusk reminds us of that time during the Mahabharata, when the great rishi Ved Vyas, due to the ego of being very knowledgeable and a good writer could not even start writing the epic. He then had to invoke Ganeshji, who though cursed by the moon to lack lunar energy (energy for creativity and romance), heard his soulful, truthful pleas, giving him one of his tusks to be fashioned into a pen so that the task of writing the great epic could be initiated. Hence, since then, the irreplaceable use of Ivory in precious works of art was started.
The vehicle of Ganeshji is the mouse. The unique quality of the mouse is that, while the rest of the world sleeps with great abandon, it quietly keeps hoarding its burrow with all sorts of things, to be discovered only when its young ones start playing around! Similarly, before starting any task, it is essential to undergo the penance of collecting related information and making necessary preparations. This wisdom fuelled by hard work is the vehicle for success, signified by the laddoo’s in Ganeshji’s hands! This is his true worship or ‘stuti.’ A Stuti is the expression of a humble desire, of working towards realising and consequently actualizing these qualities.
v Om Vigneshvaraye Namha- May all tasks be completed without any unwarranted delays or obstacles
v Om Sumukhaye Namha – May it be full of beauty and grace, or visual appeal
v Om Ekdantaye Namha – May the task and its purpose be our ‘one point programme,’ till it is accomplished
v Om Rajanathaye Namha – May we become large hearted and attain the powers to view the subtleties involved
v Om Rajkaranaye Namha – Bless us with the powers of self-actualization
v Om Lambodaraye Namah- May we be able to have the power to keep to ourselves and be focussed, till the task is accomplished
v Om Dhumraketuvaye Namha – May we attain fame by having clarity of thought
v Om Bhalchandraye Namha – May we have high thoughts and ideals, maintain our humility, yet hold our heads high with self respect
v Om Vikataye Namha - Bless us with potent energies to eradicate negativity and win over our enemies
v Om Vinakaye Namha – Bless us with the qualities of leadership
v Om Gananakshaye Namha – May we lead the leaders

There is yet another important social message communicated by the symbol of Ganeshji. That is, if anywhere around us, at home or outside, there is someone with an unusual physical form, we should respectfully include such a person in our celebrations, especially when we are staring something new, because wishes from the truthful heart of such an individual, assist in making the task obstacles free and successful.
Symbols are perfect representations of hidden messages and wisdom. When performed with complete understanding, attention, meditation, awareness, and as ritually prescribed, these lead to miraculous experiences.  If not, they still have some positive effects. This is because as mere rituals and traditions, they cannot attract wholly those powers, which assist in evolution, growth, success and true bliss. True pooja or worship is not just decorating and worshipping the idols, but also acquiring their qualities. Only by invoking the qualities of the lord of well being - Ganesh, can any new task be accomplished effortlessly and fruitfully.
PRANAM extends its soul in gratitude to all the people who contributed to create India’s golden heritage, the great tradition of symbolism, the beautiful grand idols that contain it and their inherent hidden wisdom.

OPENING THE SUB-CONCIOUS

It is only by removing the layers of the subconscious that one can realise that the light or noor which is present in all is the essence (tattva) of oneness.
All (each and every) action and reaction of human for which he does not know the reason, are regulated by the subconscious. A person who is fully absorbed in dhyan yog is aware of this entire process. Because through the (sadhana) penance of dhyan he can open the layers of the subconscious and reach the emptiness within just like peeling the skins of an onion.  This emptiness within is his priceless treasure (nidhi), and the capital of truth (satya ki punji).
The intellect is not aware of the sub-conscious collection. But the information of truth that is there in a completely empty mann, its knowledge is always there for a dhyan yogi because his worldly mind and subconscious mind have become one. It is here that true wisdom is awakened.
All the messages and instructions that are there in seed form in the mind of such a visionary with the capacity of dhyan (dhyanyukt), he is completely aware of them but not involved or engrossed in them. This is the pinnacle of detachment and surrender. Such simplicity is automatically and effortlessly is the source of encouragement to establish the truth and divinity of the laws of Nature and provides the force (shakti) to act according to the time requirement.
Through the worldly science (apara knowledge) of Psychology we can only reach 5-6 levels of the subconscious mind whereas there are 49 levels which are known as 49 maruts in the Veds.  Only divine Universal energies can reach these, which inturn can be ignited only through dhyan yog. But the greatest energy is pure and unsullied unselfish (nishchal) divine love which is an infallible medicine (ram ban aushadhi) that has been given to empty each others subconscious mind. So that in that emptiness, only THAT remains, LIVES.
God, in the form of love is kept in the subconscious mind akin to a seed in the womb of the Earth, which blossoms by getting nutrition through the love, karm and truth of your body mind and soul.
When a seed is sown, the Earth is tilled, made soft and prepared so that it can get fresh air manure and water. Similarly, through the penance of dhyan, the subconscious is to be prepared to receive the seed of positive sankalps (pledges). After the seed is sown, there should be no use of force (zabardasti) to make it grow faster nor are we to sit idle thinking that it is sure to sprout. Along with fulfilling our worldly duties, we have to be fully aware when the seed needs nourishment, when it is to be protected from  unfavourable circumstances, we have to keep constant awareness (dhyan) towards these. Nature’s Law is the same for everyone. It is complete, simple, effortless, karm in full surrender. That is why when a seed sprouts, it gives so much joy. Tender small leaves, branches, flowers, fruits, each stage is full of joy. All the time absolutely aware of its own power –
Vahi jisske liye prabhu ne banaya
Ussiki kripa se uga poornta paya
That for which god made you
Nurtured by his benevolence, attaining perfection –whole and complete.
Hey manav, pooch apne aap se apni hi sacchai
Vahi to hai sari ki sari hi khudai
Ab samay nahi raha baat ghumane ka
Bina baat apne ko bargalane ka
Jankar apana satya chhanto andhkar
Aur karo prem aur prakash ka prasar
Ho sadaa saath satya ka saar
Karm ka aadhaar
Aur prem apaar
Jo kare jagat ujiyar
Yahin swarg hai yahin satya hai
Bahut sunder hai dharti hamari
Aao isse aur sunder banayein
Sajayein sanwarein nikharein
Yahi hai Pranam ka satya.
(Ask yourself your truth, which is the essence. Now is not the time for elaboration, procrastination or living in illusion. Know your truth, eradicate your ignorance………
And become a medium for spreading Love and Light. May the essence of truth, the base of karm and endless love always be with you that illumine the world. Heaven is here, Truth is here. Our land is very beautiful, come let us make it more beautiful, decorate it, nurture it and improve it. This is Pranam’s truth).

BOOST YOURSELF WITH POSITIVE THOUGHT'S

Energy sappers: that’s what you probably call people who leave you feeling drained, even after a brief interaction. One of the golden rules of existence is ‘don’t bother others and don’t let others bother you’. Tough, you say? Well here’s how you can train to save your energy and stay calm and collected when you interact with different kinds of people.
Let’s start with this basic premise— the only person who can change the way you feel is you yourself; hence begin working on yourself.
1Accept others: Work on accepting people as they are. We mostly reach out to people along with our prejudices and preconceived notions. We try to fix them in a frame, expecting them to behave in a certain way, and if they don’t, we get frustrated and our energy saps.
2Offer as much as you can: If you are in a situation, instead of constantly thinking about what you will get out of the other person, ask yourself what you can offer him: a smile, a positive thought, a kind gesture, some understanding. This brings us to another golden rule in the energy game: if you give attention, joyfully, you will never feel sapped. Know that this was the time kept aside for that person, and he has taken it. It’s all in the mind!
3Be comfortable: When we are in discomfort or not at peace with ourselves, or in a hurry, we tend to get irritable.
4Know your limits: With respect to social conduct, know your limits beyond which you experience guilt or fear.
5Conserve energy: Keep a watchful eye on yourself. Note whether you are indulging in being judgemental, calculative or manipulative—negative thoughts like these deplete energy.
6Meet others as equals: Energy flows downwards. When we interact with others thinking we are on a higher ground, the energy will flow from us to them and it will sap us. Treat the other person as an equal, and see the difference. You might just come away unaffected.

INITIAL STEPS TOWARDS ILLUMINATION

To illuminate the mind and being, initially it is imperative to practice OPENING and BLOSSOMING, two simple and peerless Laws of Nature.
For OPENING, whenever you remember or think of someone send a mental message (sms), of love, goodwill and prayers to that person. This message should be unselfish and unconditional.  Because whatever the Supreme Intelligence puts in our dhyan has a beautiful predestined purpose to it guided by Nature’s preplanned perfect cause. This divine plan is known only to a paragyani (one who has transcended worldly and other worldly knowledge - supramind). But those who do not understand this should keep the faith that this process is a perfect and matchless medium to attract positive and auspicious feelings, thoughts (bhavs) from all directions.  The culmination of Opening is realization and revelation of reality.
BLOSSOMING is to be always happy and blissful in any and every joyous event and in others’ happiness as if it is your own.
To experience happiness in the success of others without any jealousy or resentment is more important than its formal expression because therein lies its truth, which, the Supreme within, knows.  The climax of this feeling is Enlightenment, where one begins to understand and experience the essence of Oneness. It substantiates the path of spirituality.
So, O human, Open and Blossom
Meet thy true being (astittva),
Breaking thy heart’s locks
Let fly thy soul bird.
All distances and barriers are merely of thy thoughts
Of mind’s design.
You are but a reflection of the whole creation
A partner in its absolute perfection - poornta
Then why, o why are you trapped in satisfying the ego of thine and mine?
Spread Truth, Love and Light
Only then shall ye find true liberation.
